Organic shelled Brazil nut

The Brazil nut is an oilseed rich in proteins and nutrients such as omega 6, omega 9, folic acid, vitamin E, calcium, potassium and especially selenium, which is an antioxidant mineral that fights free radicals and strengthens the immune system. It consists mainly of beneficial fats, which help control cholesterol, thus protecting the heart.

Grades of GHF’s Brazil nut

Extra Large: product containing less than 95 units/almond per 453 grams (1 lb).

Large: product that contains less than 102 units/almond per 453 grams (1 lb).

Medium: product containing 115 to 139 units/almond per 453 grams (1 lb).

Small: product containing 140 to 159 units/almond per 453 grams (1 lb).

Midget: product containing 160 to 180/almond per 453 grams (1 lb).

Tiny: product containing over 180 units/almond per 453 grams (1 lb).

Broken: product that is presented with fragmented, broken and/or broken almonds.

Chipped: product that is presented with the chipped and/or mutilated almonds by abrasions, originating from a physical agent.
